During the past 20 years, Ed Caner has performed as a sideman and/or soloist for over 30 major acts, including Page and Plant, Luciano Pavarotti, Wayne Newton, Mannheim Steamroller, Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, Mel Torme, the Moody Blues, Yes, Trans Siberian Orchestra, the 3 Irish Tenors, Guster, Michael Stanley, The New Barleycorn (Ireland/USA), Leftover Salmon, Ray Price and the Broadway musical “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”. For several years he performed as section violinist with The Cleveland Chamber Symphony, Cleveland Ballet, and Cleveland Opera Orchestra, and has served as interim Concertmaster of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra.
